For your business proposal, you are either proposing a new business entirely or proposing a change/update of a business that currently exists. • Explain how you will complete the project -Whyisthismethodthebestapproach?
• Prove that you have the resources, ability, and time to complete the project –Showthatyoucandoitinthetimeyouhave (one year). Why are you the best choice for this proposal?
• Give a schedule that shows how your project will be completed- Thiscanbeataskschedule, calendar etc. but should detail the tasks involved in your project.
• The proposal should be approx. 800-1200 words. (higher word count for larger groups)
• References are required and should be in the formal APA format.
Development
• The proposed objectives will provide a thorough investigation of the proposed project
• The methods establish an effective means of meeting the objectives.
• The proposed work schedule is reasonable and specific.
Organization
• The proposal contains all requested sections (with headings).
• Information within sections is grouped or arranged in a way that aids the reader and the message.
• The writing makes effective use of organizational markers (headings, lists, etc.) to increase readability.
