This film provides a background to Elizabethan times, the preoccupations, events in the world of theatre, and a humorous perspective of the lifestyle and prevalent issues of Shakespeare’s milieu. Remember that is a fictitious rendering of a time in William Shakespeare’s life, and “Will” features as one of the main characters in the movie. You are advised to research the making of the film, and also the sources of allusions in this movie. The more Shakespeare plays you have studied, the more rewarding the viewing experience.
