Assessment Task 1 Details and Instructions
This assessment is designed to build on the assessments that were completed in and PSYC2102 by orienting students to the content of the unit in a way that encourages the development of skills to critique research and to develop skills in ethics, cultural responsiveness and personal reflexivity.
Students will be required to write a 1000 word critique and reflection on a recent (published since 2015) peer reviewed qualitative research article of their choice addressing a psychological topic pertaining to social and emotional wellbeing among Indigenous Australians.
The paper should include:
1. A brief summary of the research article, including the main research question, the methodology, and the key findings;

4. What contribution the research makes to addressing contemporary issues for Indigenous Australians; 5. Some suggestions for future research that builds on the published study and/or addresses methodological and/or ethical limitations of the current study.
